Business teaches us to measure what moves. Revenue, margin, market share, followers, awards. The scoreboard is useful, but it is not complete.

The number after the number

Most ambitious people carry a number in their minds. When I reach it, they think, everything will change. But achievement has a way of moving the finish line just as we arrive.

The deeper question is not whether we are winning. It is whether the way we are winning reflects the life, relationships, and values we intended to protect.

A different kind of audit

A life audit asks what the ordinary financial audit cannot. Who has been strengthened by your leadership? What have your choices cost the people closest to you? What will remain when the title changes or the office is empty?

The scoreboard records achievement. Legacy records significance.

Build while you are still building

Legacy is not a final chapter written after the work is complete. It is embedded in how we lead meetings, make decisions, keep promises, and define enough. The best time to examine it is while there is still time to change the answer. Download The Life Audit Legacy Worksheet under Resources
